Mental health impacts all of us. Here's how you can help.   "There is hope even when your brain tells you there isn't." —John Green MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH     Friends and family, We hope this email finds you well! As we wrap up the month of May, we are excited to reach out to you to shed light on two significant causes: Mental Health Awareness and Foster Care Month.   MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH Mental Health & Our Moms: addressing the mental well-being of moms in our community. As you know, the journey of motherhood can be challenging, particularly for young mothers who often face multiple stressors and limited support systems. At Mother's Refuge, we prioritize the mental health of our residents, recognizing that a positive and stable environment plays a crucial role in their overall well-being. During this month and beyond, we have organized various mental health classes, counseling sessions, and support groups to ensure that our young moms have access to the tools and resources they need to navigate the emotional complexities of life. By contributing to Mother's Refuge, you are directly supporting these efforts, making a lasting impact on the mental health of young mothers. Give Now   FOSTER CARE MONTH Foster Care & Our Moms: many of our residents are in the foster care system. This is also a month where we have an opportunity to raise awareness about the many children who are in need of safe and nurturing homes. Many of our residents are coming to us from the Foster Care systems and have sought refuge with us after they've realized they're pregnant. Your continued support enables us to provide safe refuge to young mother's coming from the Foster Care system.     HOW YOU CAN HELP     MAKE A DONATION Every dollar makes a difference!
