Friends, we’re almost at the holiday weekend, so I’ll keep this short:

We’re just a few days away from closing out May and entering the last month of the quarter, which means our next FEC filing deadline is approaching.

My team works hard to build up the resources that our campaign needs to build a strong grassroots program that will not only send me back to the Senate but also support all the great Democrats on the ballot in Virginia, from President Joe Biden all the way down the ticket. 

But we can’t do it without your support. These deadlines help us stay on track and ensure we’re prepared for the mountain of Republican attacks and spending that’s already begun.

So I’m asking you right now: Will you consider pitching in $25, $50, or whatever you can to my re-election campaign before the end of May?

Asking for money has always been my least favorite part of running for office. But the truth is, running a statewide campaign -- especially one that’s facing targeted attacks from the National Republican Senatorial Committee -- is expensive, and we simply can’t raise all the funds we need unless I come to you for help.
