Puppy in a cage.

End Puppy Mills and Animal Cruelty!
Goal: $35,000
Deadline: May 31

Friend,

Right now, we’re fighting to stop abusive puppy mills from keeping animals in tiny wire cages, stacked one on top of the other often with no exercise or human interaction. But the puppy mill industry is massive, and it profits immensely from the utter neglect of dogs and puppies. And we need your help to fight back.

It will take all of us to defeat the powerful industries that profit from harming animals. That’s why we must reach our fundraising goal by May 31. Will you please step up now and help us reach our goal of $35,000 with your $20 contribution to protect puppy mill dogs, and end animal cruelty of all kinds?

Your support will empower the Humane Society Legislative Fund’s advocacy efforts on behalf of all animals—like our work to secure the passage of the Puppy Protection Act to better protect innocent dogs and puppies currently suffering in USDA-licensed puppy mills across the country.

The Puppy Protection Act would require more spacious dog runs, solid floors instead of wire that injures dogs’ paws and feedings at least twice per day. Puppy millers would also have to make a reasonable effort to find retired breeding dogs a home or a rescue placement instead of just killing them.

But to enact meaningful policy change for animals, we need your support now. Donate by May 31!

Thank you,
