Pray for strength for women who have survived domestic violence. Many of these women feel like they have no choice but to reconcile, despite years of abuse, because they depend on their partner for support. Pray that they will instead find communities of support to surround and lift them up. Pray also for IJM's aftercare teams as they work alongside these women to provide them with skills training and opportunities to earn an income that will give them the independence to live free from abusive spouses.
Latin America

Please pray for continued health and effective collaboration between IJM Guatemala and our grassroot partners, as we continue serving survivors of sexual violence and their families. Pray for emotional, psychological, physical and spiritual strength as we relentlessly work together to best serve people who are vulnerable to violence.

Praise God for 115 people rescued from bonded labor slavery just this week! These children, women and men were rescued by IJM, our partners and local authorities from six brick kilns, a rice mill and several roadside cafes. All had been forced to work in grueling conditions for the last 2 to 10 years. Instead of going to school, many of the children had grown up making bricks alongside their parents. We are so grateful for local officials who quickly took up cases from IJM and our partners, and how they treated the victims with dignity and respect. Please pray for follow-up in all these cases, and for these families to resettle safely as they begin new lives in freedom.
Southeast Asia
-
Please pray for our survivors in Bangkok. Pray that God will give them strength and confidence during victim identification and legal processes, and pray that God will continue to provide for and protect both them and their families.

- Pray for great growth in the fight to end slavery through End it Movement's Shine a Light on Slavery Day on February 13, when supporters will draw a red X on their hands and share it on social media to draw attention to this issue. Pray that many people will learn about the reality of modern-day slavery, will be moved to take action and will join the fight by
