Iran reportedly has enough enriched uranium to produce five nuclear bombs, and is supplying Russia with weapons being used in its war on Ukraine. Communist China cannot stop talking about war and is fast making preparations for it, implementing the largest military buildup since WWII. China and Russia are rapidly destabilizing North Africa.

The world stage is like a chess board, and unscrupulous state actors with power, money and military might do not hesitate to play ruthlessly, no matter the human cost, even to their own citizens.

Many brutal players are using the cover of economic instability, war and political scandal to make moves and forge alliances that will give them insurmountable advantages. The dangerous China-Russia-Iran nexus, with its brazen disregard for human rights, is one prime example.

If we allow these bad actors to dig in their heels and their positions become entrenched, it will become increasingly difficult (if not impossible) to reverse course. They rely on the fact that citizens of the West are distracted by so many pressing matters, and they increase their leverage with the money or political benefits they dangle before corrupt or naïve Western politicians.

By reminding our national decision makers that our liberties, human rights and dignity are not for sale, we can preserve the West as the dominant force for the betterment of all mankind.
