John, we wanted to give you a quick update about where we stand:

Thanks to grassroots supporters like you, we had one of our strongest online fundraising months in January! And our opponent, Republican Senator Joni Ernst, was named the third most unpopular senator in the country -- so we have a real chance to win.

But we have bad news, too. We're still not where we need to be after we were outraised by our Republican opponent last quarter. On top of that, her dark money group released new ads to help her re-election efforts. They know if they lose this seat, Mitch McConnell risks losing his majority in the Senate.

If we're going to have the resources it takes to keep up with our Republican opponent and her dark money group, we can't afford to slow down. Pitch in $5 right now and help us take back the Senate majority.

These next few months are crucial. The work we put in now will determine whether we have what it takes to stand up to Mitch McConnell, our extreme Republican opponent, and their Republican special interest allies.
