Where has the month gone, John?!
Although it seems like May just started, we only have seven days left before June and the start of Immigrant Heritage Month! That's why I am checking in.
In just under one month, I will be in Washington, DC with the New American Leaders fam and inspiring leaders like like Durham, North Carolina County Commissioner Nida Allam , Nevada State Assemblymember Selena Torres , and Ohio State Representative Munira Abdullahi at the 10th annual Power & Policy Summit [[link removed]] . Together, we'll find solutions to some of the most urgent challenges facing our communities and learn best practices for organizing and activating our communities from fellow New American leaders. Here's a preview of what you can expect:

But here's the thing: If we want to ensure that all of our communities are represented in these conversations, then we need you to join us.
I know your voice and experiences will bring so much to these discussions. And as a member of the NAL family, this is your space to learn, grow, and connect with fellow leaders working alongside you to build our movement and change the face of leadership.
So what do you say? Will I see you at Power & Policy representing your community? [[link removed]]
