Michigan is lucky to be one of the few battleground states with a pro-choice Governor.

Governor Whitmer has made it clear that she’s willing to do whatever it takes to protect abortion rights in Michigan.

FIRST: Governor Whitmer filed a lawsuit last April to ask the Michigan Supreme Court to determine whether abortion is protected in our state.

THEN: She officially repealed a draconian 1931 Michigan law that criminalized abortion providers.

NOW: Whitmer is continuing to take a stand against Republicans who are attempting to enforce anti-choice legislation.

We’re so incredibly grateful for the work Governor Whitmer has done to protect our rights, but Michigan has a target on its back, and the GOP will do whatever it takes to halt our progress.
