Dear Friend,
It was a great day at the Neshoba County Fair today as we are now just 5 days away from the Republican Primary Election!
Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Fair to show your support—and it was great to have so many supporters there to build momentum for the campaign.
As I discussed during my speech, the facts are the facts—Mississippi has big challenges and they must be addressed with conservative solutions.
On the big issues like crumbling roads and bridges, rural health care in jeopardy and a critical teacher shortage, I’m not satisfied and I believe you deserve better.
Today during my speech, I also announced a new map—literally a “Roadmap to Build Mississippi’s Future” because we have to fix the 5000 state highway miles that need repair plus the 400 state bridges that need work.
This plan is a roadmap for the future that I will work with the Legislature and local officials to prioritize by need, not by politics, so we can make Mississippi’s roads great again. As you can see on this map, we have a lot of work to do—and I’m ready to lead the way as your Governor to bring a conservative solution to fixing our roads and bridges.
I’ll be campaigning in Aberdeen, Tupelo and Columbus tomorrow and will continue working as hard as I can to earn your vote.
Your support and contribution to the campaign would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Bill
