My name is Joe Armenta and I'm Congresswoman Barbara Lee's campaign manager. For years, Rep. Lee has been a political hero for me, and serving as her campaign manager has been the honor of a lifetime.

But I'll be honest with you, John: Winning this race is going to be anything but easy – especially when Black women candidates on average raise just one-third the money that white women candidates do.

She has proven that she will stick to what she knows is right, even if she's the sole dissenting vote out of hundreds.
