Over just the past few months, DeSantis has signed into law drag bans, a ban on gender-affirming health care for minors, a 6-week abortion ban, a bill to eliminate the permit requirement for concealed carrying a weapon, and more.
Meanwhile, Floridians are paying the highest rates in the nation for property insurance, our state’s teacher shortage has DOUBLED, and Disney just canceled over $1 billion in planned investments in our state – costing us thousands of new jobs.
DeSantis is considered to be a frontrunner in this presidential race – and we need to be prepared for the worst case scenario. That means electing a Democratic Congress that can act as a firewall between our most fundamental freedoms and the threat of a DeSantis Presidency.
