What to expect under Florida’s immigration bill? Uncertainty. -- Tampa Bay Times

We cannot turn a blind eye to what's happening in Florida, John.

Recently, extremist lawmakers in Florida passed archaic legislation that directly impacts the rights and livelihoods of immigrants in the state. This new law unjustly targets immigrant workers, and even goes as far as requiring hospitals to ask about patients’ immigration status. Rightfully so, this bill has caused outrage in the community. It is discriminatory and unjust.

Extremist and xenophobic lawmakers are not representative of who we are as a nation and they must be held accountable.
