To Protect Reproductive Freedom Every year, conservatives in Richmond work tirelessly to deny citizens across the Commonwealth their reproductive liberty and bodily autonomy. Joshua will work to block any attempt to criminalize abortion, silence victims of assault, and restrict access to contraceptives in Virginia. |

To Promote Quality Jobs and Housing Shouldn’t the residents who work to make our communities function be able to afford a home of their own? Joshua will advocate to attract quality, well-paying jobs to Virginia and ensure that housing is available to all Virginians. |

To Protect Trans Rights Joshua Cole drafted and was the chief sponsor of VA HB145: Treatment of Transgender Students (Discrimination Prevention & Support) in 2020, requiring the Board of Education and educational institutions to enact policies and support options to prevent, address, and inhibit discrimination against Virginia’s transgendered and non-gender conforming youth. |

To Support Public Education and Our Educators Joshua's top education policy goals are to increase teacher pay, to make sure that diverse students are recruited to be educators, and to fully fund educational Standards of Quality (SOQs). |

To Protect Voting Rights Joshua was the chief sponsor of VA HB 235 which established processes to make voter registration automatic for those 17 or older using Division of Motor Vehicles services. |
