As the daughter of a former union ironworker, Lori has always been a fierce advocate for labor rights and has been fighting for policies that benefit working families since the day she was sworn into Congress.
But over the past few years, workers' rights have been under attack from extremists in the Republican Party and the corporate interests that back them. The power of unions has been decimated in states across the country, and workers are suffering for it.
