After announcing my candidacy for President of the United States, I went on Fox News to speak
with my friend Trey Gowdy.
He asked me if I could take a punch while standing up to the haters, and my answer is absolutely yes.
“I believe Matthew
5:44 says ‘love your enemies.’ If you break in my house, I also believe in the Second Amendment. I'm gonna make sure that we defend every
single thing we love in this country.”
I believe our
country is hungry for positive, conservative leadership.
It is time for us to restore hope, create opportunities, and protect America. It is time for us to be proud to
be Americans and proud of our president.
The Democrats have chosen a culture of grievance
over greatness. Here’s the thing though – I know the power of the American Dream because I have lived it. My family went from
cotton to congress in a single lifetime.
This isn’t going to be easy. I’ll need your help to win.
