I am thrilled to announce that Spokane County Treasurer Michael Baumgartner, a steadfast Republican leader with an impressive record of public service, will be joining us at two of our upcoming events: As the Master of Ceremonies at our 46th Annual Dinner in Bellevue, and as a special guest at our 5th Annual 'Heart of the Party' Reception in Spokane! Before becoming the Spokane County Treasurer, Michael Baumgartner served as a Washington State Senator from the 6th Legislative District, most notably serving as the Vice-Chair of the important Ways and Means Committee.

Before his time in elected office, Michael was a US State Department Officer in Iraq and a counternarcotics advisor in Afghanistan. His global perspective, formed by extensive travel to over 80 countries, makes him an invaluable asset to our party. Michael is a public servant through and through and we appreciate his strong dedication to our state, country, and Republican Party.
