Her 2022 opponent, QAnon extremist J. R. Majewski, is running again, and with Marcy’s district targeted as one of the most competitive in the nation for 2024, we can’t take this moment for granted.
In 2022, massive Republican super-PACs threw millions in out-of-state dark money toward attack ads to defeat Marcy, despite Majewski’s ties to QAnon, lying about his military service during his campaign, and actively denying the 2020 election results.
We need Marcy’s leadership, John. As the longest-serving woman in the House, Marcy has always been dedicated to preserving the Great Lakes, advocating for working families and our incredible veterans, and rebuilding Ohio’s crumbling infrastructure. Her proven track record shows she knows how to get things done, and that scares the Republicans.
Marcy’s one of just five Democratic incumbents running in a district that Trump won in 2020. Democrats only need to flip five seats to break the Republican majority, so holding onto frontline seats like Marcy’s is critical. This is a make-it-or-break-it race.
