Dear friend,
As you read this, parents in Somalia and Kenya are thinking about when
they will be able to feed their children next. Women and children in
Ukraine are rebuilding their lives with what they were able to pack in a
suitcase. Families are relying on temporary shelter in Northwest Syria
after the earthquake destroyed their homes. People are fleeing from their
homes and neighborhoods amid the violence in Sudan.
Today, I’m asking you to help us raise $375,000 by May 31 to support Mercy
Corps’ vital work across the Horn of Africa, Ukraine, Northwest Syria, and
in 40+ countries around the world.
A group of generous donors has contributed to our Matching Gift Challenge
Fund to encourage other supporters to match their gifts. [ [link removed] ]Can we count
on you to make a matching gift today that will help us go twice as far for
communities affected by conflict and climate change?

Right now, more than 339 million people around the world
need humanitarian assistance, including mothers like Abongon Echwa in
Kenya, shown in the picture above. While this challenge is daunting, one
thing is certain: Mercy Corps is there to help, and we know you are too.
The
generous support from our community has already helped us make progress in
40+ countries. But there is still so much more we can do together, which
is why I hope we can convince you to make your first gift to Mercy Corps
today. [ [link removed] ]Your matching gift will help us go 2X as far
for the communities we serve so we can address the immediate needs of
today while developing shared solutions for the future, helping people
cope, adapt, and thrive for years to come.
From all of us here at Mercy Corps, we are so grateful to you for being
part of our community and helping to build a better, brighter future for
families around the world.
Thank you,
