John, George Santos deceived his constituents to win a seat in Congress – and we can't let him remain in public office.
The Justice Department has indicted Santos on 13 counts – including embezzling donor money from his campaign, money laundering, and lying to the House of Representatives.
And he lied to his constituents and voters about nearly every part of his identity to take office – even going so far as to capitalize off of tragedies like the Holocaust, the PULSE nightclub shooting, and 9/11. [1]
If we can’t trust him to be honest about who he is, we can’t trust him to serve in Congress and represent our country.
Sign our petition if you agree: Liars like George Santos have no place in Congress. He must resign.
George Santos misled and lied to hundreds of thousands of voters – deceiving every one of his constituents to gain power.
Furthermore, his first legislative action was to vote to weaken the Office of Congressional Ethics, an independent House ethics watchdog that has received complaints to investigate his lies and deception.
Yet House Speaker Kevin McCarthy hasn’t even asked Santos – who deceived every single one of his constituents to gain power – to resign.
We can’t reward this kind of dishonesty and corruption with political power. If we don’t fight back now, we’ll be giving a free pass to candidates to lie their way into public office – regardless of who they hurt in the process.
Serial liar George Santos has been indicted and remains under local, state, and federal investigations. If the House Ethics Committee doesn’t soon act, the full House must act. Justice delayed is justice denied.
We deserve elected officials who we can trust. Add your name to demand George Santos’ resignation.
