In summer 2020, thousands of civic and social justice organizations committed to advancing racial equity, amid what became known as the nation’s Summer of Reckoning. Today, those commitments continue to be tested and are needed more than ever before.
If you are ready to advance your personal commitment to racial equity, register for Race Forward’s latest Decision-Making for Racial Equity (DRE) workshop. Our DRE training is open to all racial equity practitioners and project managers who are working on a choice point or project that has equity implications for folks inside and outside their organization.
Dates: June 21, July 19, or August 16
Training Highlights:
- Uncover Biases: Gain a deep understanding of unconscious biases and how they impact decision-making processes. Learn techniques to recognize and mitigate biases, ensuring decisions are fair, inclusive, and promote racial equity.
- Case Studies and Best Practices: Engage in dynamic discussions of case studies that highlight real-world examples of how organizational decisions can advance racial equity.
- Root-Cause Analysis: In this training, we will dig beneath the surface to unearth the roots of organizational challenges that can produce disparate outcomes.
- Solutions: Our expert racial equity facilitators help you identify decision points that lead to equitable results and outcomes.
Please note: because DRE is an advanced-level course, we ask that registrants attend the foundational Building Racial Equity (BRE) training before DRE.
Your commitment is what drives the movement towards racial justice. If you have any questions on the DRE training – including information on scholarships available - please contact our team at [email protected]. We look forward to welcoming you to the Decision-Making for Racial Equity training!
In Solidarity,
The Training Strategies Team
