John, our hearts are heavy today as we remember the horrible tragedy that occurred in Uvalde, TX. 21 people died, 19 of whom were elementary school children.
That’s 19 child-sized coffins and countless destroyed families. The fact that our children’s safety is not guaranteed at school is disgusting. And this fact is exclusively due to our elected leaders continuing to protect guns over people.

We refuse to accept thoughts and prayers. These horrendous tragedies CAN and MUST be avoided.
If you are outraged, please join us in letting Governor Abbott know how disappointed and heartbroken you are. [[link removed]]
States across the country, including Texas, have recklessly weakened gun laws and removed any and all safeguards. This recklessness continues on social media when our electeds glorify gun ownership and pander to the gun lobby and when they cheer in support of violence rather than common sense safeguards.
We are tired of them throwing out fear, distrust, and hate. Are you?
We must keep fighting for political leaders who will treat gun violence like the public health emergency that it is. We must fight to honor all victims and survivors–including those that never made headlines–with action.
Please consider giving $21 dollars today in honor of the 21 irreplaceable lives lost one year ago at Robb Elementary School. [[link removed]]
