[[link removed]]URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Tell President Biden to STOP a new petrochemical factory
in CANCER ALLEY! Friend, please sign the petition now!
[[link removed]]

Sprawling fields of grimy pipes snaking between giant metallic structures.
Noxious odors, smoke, and clouds of pollution hanging in the air. These toxic
facilities have no place near our communities or wildlife. But a new proposed
plastics factory in Louisiana would stretch more than 2,400 acres along the
Mississippi River, poisoning people already living in a region with ASTRONOMICAL cancer rates!

The products this plant will churn out aren’t any better for your health or the
environment. The plastics will break down into microplastics that fill the
oceans and contaminate our food, water, and air. As the PLASTICS APOCALYPSE worsens, wildlife can DIE by mistaking plastic waste for food.

The power to STOP this toxic plant rests with President Biden, but we need YOUR
HELP to convince him. FIGHT the plastics crisis and STOP this toxic plant before it’s built-in Cancer
Alley!

[[link removed]]The company spearheading this toxic plant is called Formosa Plastics. For years,
Formosa illegally released BILLIONS of plastic pellets into local waterways in Texas. And the very proposed factory we’re discussing here was barred from
operating in Taiwan, where Formosa is headquartered. Why should we trust that
the proposed mega-factory will be any better?

Chemical pollution has been linked to respiratory damage, liver, brain, or heart problems, and cancer -- yet Formosa is still willing to add more toxic pollution to a predominately
Black and low-income community that’s already on the frontlines of corporate
greed. Please, Friend, tell President Biden to STOP Formosa
before it’s too late. Sign by 11:59 pm TONIGHT!
