Investor Consultation on the Final Draft of the TNFD Framework
May 25, 2023, 11am ET
Online
A crucial step for companies and their investors to help tackle the urgent nature loss crisis is being able to assess nature-related risks. The Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD)—a market-led, science-based initiative backed by members representing $20.6 trillion in assets—is developing a framework that will help companies evaluate and disclose their nature-related risks and opportunities. In this webinar, hosted by Ceres and TNFD, portfolio managers, analysts and corporate engagement teams will learn about the TNFD framework and how it will support investors’ analysis and engagement activities with clear, comparable, investable data. Investors will
review the framework’s final draft and provide feedback in advance of the formal launch of the TNFD framework in September 2023. |
Benchmarking Methane and other GHG Emissions
June 1, 2023, 12pm ET
Online
Concern over climate change has brought increased focus on methane and greenhouse gas emissions associated with oil and gas production. These emissions, especially methane emissions, can diminish the greenhouse gas benefits of using gas in place of coal and represent a significant source of climate pollution.
The 2023 Oil & Gas Benchmarking Report is a collaborative effort using publicly available data to develop comparable metrics that highlight the GHG performance of onshore oil and gas producers in the U.S. We’ll present the key findings of the report during this webinar. |
