Friend, we know that the overwhelming majority of Americans support expanding background checks before gun purchases – a simple, commonsense measure that could save COUNTLESS lives. 

But we're facing an increasingly horrific gun violence epidemic in the U.S., and there's one thing stopping us from moving forward and keeping our communities safe: the MAGA Republican Party. 

With over 230 mass shootings in 2023 alone, President Biden signed an executive order expanding background checks, but he's still receiving severe pushback from Republicans. 

The GOP is deep in the pockets of the gun lobby, and they're more than willing to choose corporate donations over American lives.
