This Thursday evening (May 25th), Country First is hosting one of
our movement-wide Campfires with an important theme: Raising the Hope
Ceiling.
We'll be talking about the looming debt default, how our politics
got to where it's so hard to do simple things, and the work Country
First is doing to get better people into elected office and evolve our
system so that reasonable, pro-democracy leaders can actually win,
survive, and thrive. Our work together is what raises the HOPE ceiling
at a time when it can be hard to find hope in our politics.

These illuminating and hopeful gatherings are always very popular,
so we hope you'll invite as many of your likeminded family and friends
as possible to join us, even if they aren't members of Country
First.
Aim to bring at least two more people with you (we call it
YOU+2), which may mean inviting several more than
that. The webinar will be immediately followed by breakout sessions
where we can thoughtfully discuss these issues with other good folks
from around the country. We want to hear what you
think.
