John — we’re about one week away from May 31, when our fundraising deadline for the month expires at midnight.

We’re a big fan of countdowns here at Team Underwood because they A) help our campaign stay on track toward our goals and B) let folks like you know what’s really going on.

When we start counting down to our deadlines, we notice more folks tuning in, opening our emails and showing Lauren love and support. This is why we only ask for contributions when it’s necessary in order for us to hit our goals.

To be honest, if everyone who reads our emails chipped in to every email, we’d send fewer fundraising requests! But we know that not everyone can donate on any given day, so we send out messages around our deadlines as a reminder for folks to chip in when they can.
