As I campaigned across Upstate New York last year, I became even more convinced that the corrupting influence of corporate PAC money is the root of all evil in our politics. Whether it’s too few choices for cable providers, too high of costs for prescription drugs, or price gouging by oil companies–you can draw a direct line from the challenges folks are facing to our broken campaign finance system.

That’s why I’m doing things differently. I’m not taking any corporate PAC money, running a grassroots campaign instead. Wall Street has enough seats at the table in Congress. It’s time for working folks to have one, too.
