Hi Friend, “Enough is enough. The Rachael Rollins affair should make everyone sick. Sick of the one-party rule where checks and balances are too easily dismissed.” This, according to the Boston Herald today, is the sad state of affairs in Massachusetts. The Herald reported that disgraced former US Attorney for Massachusetts, Rachael Rollins earned over $1.3 million from taxpayers, including her $185,000 annual salary as US Attorney, over her career as a "public servant." However, it is clear that Rollins has been playing politics on the taxpayers dime, attending a fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee and attempting to sabotage the Suffolk DA race by leaking confidential information to the press. After her confirmation, Senators Warren and Markey called Rollins "devoted to her career transforming the criminal justice system." After being allowed to resign (and somehow not fired!), the Senators issued an updated statement that "Rachael Rollins has for years dedicated herself to the people of Massachusetts and equal justice under the law." Really? Rachael Rollins abused her office for political gain and was allowed to resign to avoid further investigation into her corrupt acts. Donate One Party rule in Massachusetts is a problem.
