A world without cages is possible—with your help!

Day by day, advocates like you are changing the world for chickens. Every time you take action against corporate giants that profit off animal abuse, you’re driving meaningful shifts toward a world free from animal abuse.

Just look at some of the wins we’re celebrating this spring!

PepsiCo switched gears and reported its progress, putting it on track to stop keeping hens in extreme confinement by 2025.

Kellogg’s has reinstated its commitment and published its path to freeing hens from extreme confinement by 2025.

Cerealto Siro had promised to go cage-free, but was not reporting any progress. Now the company has published a path to freeing hens from a lifetime of extreme confinement for good by 2025.

The actions we take together help build this rising tide of change. And we’re just getting started.

Next up: One of the fastest growing restaurants in the world!

Now we’ve set our sights on Jollibee, parent company of brands like Smashburger and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. With locations in Latin America, Asia, Europe, and North America, Jollibee calls itself “one of the jolliest fast food restaurants on earth”—but the truth is far from joyful.

Behind Jollibee’s cheerful facade, hens are living in agony. The company has yet to agree to stop forcing hens to live in battery cages—the tiny wire systems that keep millions of hens around the globe trapped in extreme confinement.

But you can help change that.

A world without cages is possible. Thanks to the actions of advocates like you, last year Toridoll Holdings Corporation—parent company of restaurants like Marugame Udon, Wok to Walk, PokeWorks, Shoryu Ramen, and more—released its policy to stop holding hens in extreme confinement—a policy that would directly improve the lives of 40,000 hens in Japan by the end of 2023.

Changemakers like you sent a powerful message—and Toridoll listened. I know that when we work together, we can create a future where no animal has to suffer in the food system. Let’s keep our global momentum going! Ready to get Jollibee’s attention?

When you and I take action together, we achieve meaningful wins for the animals, one incremental shift at a time. Thank you for helping to build a more compassionate world.

For the animals,

Head of Global Corporate Engagement

P.S. Jollibee claims to serve “lots of joy,” but hens are suffering in its operations. Let’s let Jollibee know it’s time to stop caging hens!
