In 2022, we ran digital ads, sent over 150,000 voicemails, and contributed funds to the Colorado Democratic Party’s voter contact efforts in the 8th District.
The result? Out of 236,000 votes cast, Dr. Caraveo won by just 1,632 votes—just under one percentage point. Our work made an impact.
National Republicans see Dr. Caraveo—a strong supporter of abortion rights, common sense gun reforms, and a Latina daughter of immigrants—as a target. They'll do anything, say anything, and dump millions of dollars in dark money into smearing her character and trying to knock her down. We need to fight back with everything we've got.
