In the 333 days since Roe was overturned, voters have upheld the right to an abortion every time it’s appeared on the ballot:

In Kansas, voters overwhelmingly rejected a proposed constitutional amendment that would have stripped Kansans of their right to an abortion. In Michigan, voters approved a sweeping amendment to the state’s constitution guaranteeing the right to reproductive freedom. In Kentucky, voters rejected a proposal that would have further restricted abortion rights. And in California, voters enshrined abortion rights in the state constitution and permanently protected abortion access within the state.

Time and time again, voters have REJECTED Republican attacks on abortion access. But now, the GOP is using a new tactic to overrule the will of the people – and undermine our democracy.

In response to voters' overwhelming REJECTION of their efforts to BAN abortion, Republicans are trying to game the system and get around the will of the people.

In states across the country, Republican lawmakers are attempting to restrict ballot initiatives! These underhanded tactics not only make it harder to enshrine abortion rights into state constitutions, but they also strip voters of their ability to challenge government – threatening our very democracy!
