Some Representatives in the House are FURIOUS that Gun Owners of America has
so many Americans up in arms demanding a vote on H.J. Res. 44 before June 1st.


Along with the tens of thousands of letters sent by grassroots gun owners like
YOU, we just spearheaded three industry coalition letters to House leadership.


The first was from Second Amendment Action Alliance – which is made up of
YouTube influencers that represent over 30 million viewers – and the other two
letters represented both gun makers and gun dealers.


All three letters urged Speaker McCarthy and other House leaders to pass H.J.
Res. 44 and block Biden’s pistol ban BEFORE it goes into effect on June 1st.


Since our pressure campaign is upsetting Representatives in the House so much,
we know it’s working…


This is not the first time Representatives have complained about GOA’s
grassroots activists being so loud. Remember when anti-gun Rep. Sylvia Garcia
told an MSNBC host last year that GOA has instilled a “fear of retaliation”
amongst congressmen?


Your activism is getting their attention once again!


But we need to keep hammering away until the House FINALLY passes H.J. Res. 44
and OVERTURNS Biden’s draconian ban on 40,000,000 legal firearms.

Tyrannical anti-gunners at Biden’s ATF are on the brink of usurping the
lawmaking process to ban millions of firearms with attached stabilizing braces.


It’s indefensible that our supposedly “pro-gun” House majority is content to
sit on their hands and allow the largest gun ban in American history go into
effect.


On June 1st, millions of gun owners like YOU will be forced to either turn in,
register, or destroy these firearms which have been sold across the country for
nearly a decade.


After that date, they’ll be completely at the mercy of the ATF’s arbitrary
enforcement actions, including going door-to-door to arrest them and confiscate
their firearms.


If caught in possession of one of these 40,000,000 newly outlawed pistols
with an attached stabilizing brace, you’ll facefelony charges and 10 years in
prison!


All for owning a firearm whose only unique feature is cosmetic.


These guns are NOT more dangerous than any other firearm. Banning them will
do absolutely NOTHING to stop gun violence or mass shootings.


The only thing it would accomplish is to lay the groundwork for further
infringements on your Second Amendment rights.


As I’ve said before, we absolutely cannot allow our elected officials to allow
this kind of gross overreach by the ATF to become precedent.


Congress MUST step in and make clear that this is a question for the people’s
representatives, not unelected bureaucrats equipped with a pen.


Otherwise, these radical anti-gun bureaucrats will jump all over the first
opportunity they have to further disarm Americans by banning even more guns.


At a minimum, passing this resolution of disapproval will send a powerful
message that the ATF has overstepped its authority as multiple judges weigh
court challenges to this tyrannical rule – one of which is being co-led by Gun
Owners of America!


It will also force Democrat Senators to go on the record about whether they
support turning their own constituents into felons overnight simply for owning
a cosmetic piece of plastic.


In addition to passing H.J. Res. 44 (S. J. Res. 20 in the Senate), your
letters will also remind your elected officials of additional steps they can
take to protect Americans from Biden’s unconstitutional pistol ban:


* Pass the Stop Harassing Owners of Rifles Today (SHORT) Act, which goes
after the heart of Biden’s pistol ban by deregulating the National Firearms Act
that ultimately gives the ATF the power to enforce Biden’s ban.

* Completely defund the ATF to strip them of their ability to enforce this
unconstitutional gun ban and stop them from harassing law-abiding gun owners in
the future.

With your help, we can continue to bombard Congress with letters until they
vote to OVERTURN Biden’s pistol ban and put a stop to this unprecedented
infringement on your God-given rights.
