In January, I outlined a vision to make Minnesota the best state in the country to live, work, and raise a family. Yesterday, our DFL trifecta concluded a historic legislative session that delivered on that promise.

While Republicans in other states were banning books, bullying the LGBTQ+ community, and making child labor easier, we codified abortion rights into state law, banned the harmful practice of conversion “therapy,” secured universal meals for our students, enacted common-sense gun safety measures, and so much more.

We passed a budget to give educators the resources they need to teach our children, rebuild our roads and critical infrastructure, and give money back directly to Minnesotans who need it most.

The forces of extremism, hatred, and bigotry are on the march across the country and around the world, but that march stops at Minnesota’s borders. And it’s all thanks to you and this grassroots team.

Minnesota is setting a national example of progress, but our work isn’t over yet. Now, more than ever, Republicans are going to do everything they can to retake power so they can undo our progress and drag us backward.
