Russia left Bakhmut in ruins, leading Ukraine to adjust its strategy.

On Sunday, Russia claimed to have definitively captured Bakhmut, a city that has taken on symbolic and strategic importance during the war. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has denied that Russia has seized total control over the city.
