Since I was elected to the U.S. House, I have introduced my Medicare for All bill each session because I believe in universal healthcare. Our current healthcare system puts individuals at the top who make decisions based on profits, not patients. We are the only industrialized nation in the world that does not guarantee its citizens access to comprehensive health care.

For decades, this system has forced millions of Americans into debt, or forced into making the decision between putting food on the table or refilling a life-saving prescription.

The time to fix our broken healthcare system is now, and I’m ready to get to work to get this done.
