Office of the Texas Governor, Governor's Committee on People with Disabilities
Health and Human Services Wants to Hear from You

iHealth and Human Services (HHS) is meeting with stakeholders in-person across the state to hear from them about ways to improve access to long-term services and supports. Your feedback will help identify ways HHS can strenghen the No Wrong Door system, a streamlined and coordinated system to help Texans access long-term services and supports (LTSS) in the community. LTSS includes, but is not limited to, day activity health services, home health aide services, personal care services, home-delivered meals, transportation, and family caregiver support services.

Specifically, they want to learn from persons using LTSS:

* How you heard about LTSS;

* Where you went to apply for or receive LTSS (including online or by phone);

* Your experiences learning about or accessing LTSS through an information and referral phone line, HHSC website or other virtual way;

* Anything else you would like to share about your experience trying to find and access LTSS.

From providers of LTSS, they want to learn:

* How clients learn about your services;

* How clients are referred to you and where the referrals come from;

* Where you refer clients seeking additional LTSS you do not provide;

* Anything else you would like to share about your experiences providing LTSS in the community.
