John - June 1st is rapidly approaching. But the House GOP has stood firm in their desires to harm middle and low-income families by making them pay for Republican's prior tax cuts for the rich.

The GOP is only offering a deal with the condition of a 22% cut that would directly affect veterans, students, and even scale back rail safety. Help us elect more Democrats in 2024 to avoid the disasters of the MAGA GOP. 

Without a debt ceiling agreement, millions of jobs could be lost, Social Security checks may be stopped, and a global market catastrophe could occur.

Their version of a compromise for the debt ceiling includes:
- eliminating IRS improvements to keep up with the 1% that don't pay their fair share in taxes
- blocking student loan debt relief
- repealing tax credits for companies pursuing cleaner production and progress on climate action

- work requirements for the lowest-income Americans

The Democratic party wants to pay our bills, honor our responsibilities, and keep families in their jobs and homes. Republicans have an alternative agenda and live in an alternate reality.
