John,

We wanted to send you an update as our campaign continues to gain critical endorsements ahead of the June 20 primary. (If you're able to help our ongoing efforts to reach voters these next four weeks, please chip in here: [link removed])

Recently, Hala has been proud to garner the support of Delegate Eileen Filler-Corn (Virginia's 56th Speaker of the House) and UFCW Local 400. She also was named a Gun Sense Candidate by Moms Demand Action.

Hala worked alongside Speaker Filler-Corn in the House of Delegates to expand Medicaid, bolster small businesses, and strengthen voting rights . She is deeply honored to have her friend's endorsement – and will work every day in the State Senate to sustain the progress that's been made.

Hala will always stand with labor, and she's honored to have the local UFCW in her corner. As someone who once worked as a gas station clerk while a single mother, she understands the vital role that unions play in providing a safety net for working folks everywhere.

Being recognized by Moms Demand Action – one of the country's most important advocacy groups for gun safety – means a lot to Hala. As a survivor of gun violence, she knows firsthand how it can change a person’s life forever. When elected to the State Senate, she'll continue to advocate for gun safety reforms in Richmond.

Our broad array of support speaks to the strength of the campaign we've put together and the authenticity of Hala's message. As we enter the final stretch of this primary, we're confident that we can win.

But we're taking nothing for granted, and every extra few dollars that we raise helps us get the word out about Hala. So John, if you can, will you make a donation of $5?[link removed]

Thank you!

Team Ayala
