John, there’s more than one way to undermine a democracy – and trust us, ultra-MAGA Republicans are trying them all.
First, the GOP attacked the legitimacy of the 2020 election by spreading dangerous conspiracy theories, which led to the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection.
Then, when that didn’t work, they tried to elect election-denying Republicans as Secretary of State last November so they can oversee the 2024 election - and pick and choose who wins.
But that didn’t work. We Defeated election-denying Republicans in swing states like Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, and Colorado.
Our work isn’t done though, John. The GOP is refusing to give up on the Big Lie. Trump is the likely 2024 Republican nominee and he’s more dangerous than ever - he continues to spread the same dangerous conspiracy theories that led to Jan. 6.
It’s clear: The work DASS does to re-elect Democrats and FLIP more GOP-held seats has never been more important.
Because our Democratic Secretaries are the LAST line of defense for our democracy.
