Dear John,

In a few weeks, thousands of college students and national leaders will descend upon Washington, DC for the largest gathering of conservatives in the country – the Conservative Political Action Conference, known as CPAC. The Network of enlightened Women is excited to welcome these students to our network that educates them on conservative policy and trains them to be leaders.
We are thrilled to provide scholarships to 45 women to attend, which is the largest group of NeW women attending CPAC on scholarship in the history of our organization. These 45 women are coming from across the country from schools such as Baylor University, Boston College, College of Charleston, Cornell University, University of Mississippi, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Xavier University, and many more. NeW is giving them the opportunity to hear from top conservative leaders, including the President of the United States, Members of Congress, and conservative influencers.
This is just one of the many opportunities we provide to young women and an example of how we educate women on conservative ideas.
We will also host our annual Women EmPower Hour evening event to bring the women attending CPAC together to network and hear from Patrice Lee Onwuka, Senior Policy Analyst at the Independent Women’s Forum and frequent guest on Fox News, as she inspires the women in attendance to stand strong and bold for their conservative principles.

If you are attending CPAC or know any college women attending, please let us know (mailto:[email protected]) .

Best,

Kathryn Alford

And the Winners Are...
NeW is pleased to announce the winners of the 2020 Gentlemen Showcase.

Anders Pierson from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte was named the 2020 Gentleman of the Year. Pierson was nominated by his friend, Emily Madden, from NeW at UNC Charlotte.

Gentleman of the Year, Anders Pierson, shared about what it means to be a gentleman today: "In 2020, being a gentleman is based upon a man's core values, his morality and honor. It means that a man will dedicate his life and behavior to a higher standard of conduct, not to make himself feel better, but to set a bar for how men should behave themselves...More than anything, a gentleman is true to his word, being a man whose words match his actions. A promise from a genuine gentleman means he will keep it until it is fulfilled as to be true to both himself and to those he cares about."

And James Fallon, from EF Academy, is the 2020 Honorable Mention. He was nominated by his friend, Stephanie Rivera.

Fallon shared why he believes The Gentlemen Showcase is important, "The Gentlemen Showcase unites our communities and illustrates we need to coexist with one another, respect one another, and be willing to make a difference by volunteering to lift others up in this world."

Both gentlemen and their nominators won prize packages that were generously donated by Black Rifle Coffee Company, Kendra Scott, and Vineyard Vines.

Thank you to all who participated in this year's Gentlemen Showcase.
