Last week, Senator Bernie Sanders and Congresswomen Pramila Jayapal and Debbie Dingell officially reintroduced Medicare for All in the U.S. House and Senate. In order to spread the word in our communities, volunteer leaders with our campaign hosted canvasses for Medicare for All across the country.
Our Medicare for All Weekend of Action was a huge success with events taking place in states including New York, Ohio, North Carolina, Washington, California, Hawaii, and more. On both Saturday and Sunday, hundreds of volunteers spoke to their neighbors and community members about the need for guaranteed health care.
We know that passing Medicare for All will not come easy. That's why we're committed to growing our powerful movement by talking to our neighbors and bringing more people into this fight to show our leaders that the public is with us.
Last week was a critical opportunity to spread the word in our communities and demonstrate the power of our movement for Medicare for All, and we're so proud to see how many folks got involved.
In solidarity,
