John, we have good news and bad news about young voters.

First, the good news: In key states across the country, young voters are turning out to vote at record rates and making their voices heard!

Last November, young people in states like Pennsylvania and Michigan turned out in huge numbers. Their votes helped defeat extreme anti-choice, election-denying politicians and helped Democrats expand their Senate majority.

And earlier this year, young people showed up for Wisconsin’s state supreme court race, helping Judge Janet Protasiewicz defeat her conservative opponent by a commanding 11-point margin.

But now the bad news: Republicans also know how powerful young voters are — and now, the GOP wants to make it harder for young people to participate in the 2024 election!

Voto Latino is working in key battleground states to empower young Latinos, get them registered to vote, and mobilize them to cast a ballot. Will you chip in to support our voter outreach work so we can counteract GOP voter suppression efforts? ([link removed])

Before the next election, more than 4 million young Latinos will reach voting age, and many of them live in important swing states like Arizona, Nevada, and Texas. If we can engage these potential voters, we can make our voices heard in a resounding way.

But across the country, Republicans are scrambling to make it harder for these young people to participate in the next election by limiting voting on college campuses, same-day voter registration, and automatic mailing of ballots to registered voters.

The way we see it, we have two choices:

Option 1: We can sit back and watch while Republicans use voter suppression tactics to undermine the voices of young voters.

Option 2: We can double down on our efforts to register and mobilize young Latinos, we drive massive turnout, and defeat anti-voting Republicans!
