Whether you are an existing Health Affairs author or are thinking of submitting to Health Affairs for the first time, we want to support you on every step of the journey.
The Author Help Center provides information about the various content you
can submit to Health Affairs, the review and editing processes, preparing new and revised submissions, editorial policies, information for reviewers, and other pertinent information for authors.
The Help Center helps prospective authors understand submission processes for our journal, Forefront, our new open-access journal Scholar, events, and health policy briefs.
Last year, we received 2,373 journal submissions with an acceptance rate of 8 percent.
In Forefront, 33 percent of 1,136 submissions were accepted.
Sign-up for our Authors newsletter to receive requests for abstracts, submission tips, and notices about networking and professional development events.
Health Affairs is launching a contest! The premise is simple. Finish the statement "You’re A Health Policy Wonk If…"
We'll share some of the submissions on Forefront in July, and the first-place winner of the contest will receive a Health Affairs tumbler and a free Unlimited membership for a year. Submit by May 31.
