More and more Americans are coming to understand the enormity of the threat that climate change poses to our way of life.

Coupled with things like increasingly affordable, reliable electric vehicles and cheaper renewable energy sources, most of us won’t be surprised that demand for fossil fuel is declining.

We’ve made remarkable gains in the fight for clean energy, but House Republicans are desperately working to erase our progress. Will you pitch in $15 or $25 to support our fight for nationwide clean energy and a more sustainable future?

The shift to clean energy is universally positive – after all, it’s great news for the planet, businesses, and consumers (everyone except fossil fuel CEOs, of course).

There’s just one problem: The GOP thinks they can use our tax dollars to prop up the fossil fuel industry and give them special treatment over clean energy competitors, and still claim to be for free-market capitalism.

For all their crusading against “woke” corporations, Republicans are terrified – truly terrified – of the power of the free market.

Because the truth is, Republicans only support capitalism if it benefits a very small group of people (especially if those people are big-time Republican donors).

But as a former clean energy CEO, I can tell you that a thriving economy and a thriving climate aren’t mutually exclusive. In fact, it’s the opposite: Climate change is proving to be a powerful catalyst for innovation. Here’s how we can harness that power:

1. Stop using taxpayer dollars to artificially prop up the declining and destructive fossil fuel industry.
2. Invest in climate research and support innovation that will make a sustainable economy practical AND profitable.
3. Elect leaders who understand that a livable planet is actually good for business!

So please, folks, I’m on a mission to find common-sense solutions to the climate crisis. I’m sure not going to find it on the other side of the aisle, so can I count on you to pitch in $25 to keep me in the fight?
