How’s it going, John?

I am so excited to reach out to you all, and introduce myself as the New Pennsylvania Project’s Director of Strategic Communications!

I joined this team because I know that only when we all participate in the democratic process can we truly advocate for the issues and policies closest to our hearts.

This held true in Delaware County last week, where the voters turned out and kept a crucial Democratic majority in the Pennsylvania State House.

Because of the hard work of NPP and dedicated grassroots supporters like you, John, we were able to protect fundamental freedoms such as abortion access and voting rights. This is one victory in the books, but I know there are many more to come. Will you pitch in $10 today to help us keep our victories coming by continuing to educate, register and engage voters across the state?

As a former journalist and now the new Director of Strategic Communications, I know how important it is to connect with communities and ensure that all voices are being heard.

The New Pennsylvania Project’s mission is to empower and engage the Commonwealth’s historically disenfranchised Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, youth, and immigrant communities. That is why I am beyond honored to continue my work statewide here at NPP, ensuring that I do the same.

The next election on our radar is the Municipal/Local/Judicial Election coming up in November, and our work has already begun. Our team is investing for long-term success, which is why I am asking you, John, to make a $10 donation right now to help us continue our efforts of year-round voter registration and civic engagement through this 2023 election cycle and beyond →

-------------------------------------------------------

The New Pennsylvania Project was founded in May 2021 to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate, so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. In the next four years, NPP will engage and empower young residents and those living in underrepresented immigrant communities and communities of color. We register communities to vote, provide civic education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize Pennsylvanians to vote in every election.
