On Tuesday evening, Ayanna boycotted the sham State of the Union in protest of this Administration’s cruel and draconian rhetoric and policies.
Later that night, she joined the Working Families Party to reject the politics of hate, and lay out a vision for how we will continue building a multi-generational, multi-racial, powerful grassroots movement — a movement to evict the occupant of the White House and make progress for all of our communities.
She highlighted the dynamic activists, advocates, and organizers who have been elected to office across the country with the help of this movement. And she talked about the bold, progressive policies we will work towards together.
We’ve already achieved important victories. Just yesterday, the House passed the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act, which will make it easier for workers to form a union and fight for economic justice, in the face of this Administration’s ongoing assault on organized labor and working families.
Together, we’ll continue to organize, mobilize, and legislate to bring real change to our communities. We’re going to continue building this movement, electing dynamic leaders, and advancing a bold, progressive policy agenda, but we need your support. Our movement is funded by grassroots contributions, folks chipping in $5, $15, or even $25 at a time because they are committed to this fight.
Thank you for your solidarity and your partnership. This movement is powered by you.
