Join the National Association of Scholars on Tuesday, May 23, at 2 pm ET for "Race in Higher Education: Prospects for the Future."

The Supreme Court’s upcoming decision on the UNC and Harvard cases has the potential to upend the existing system of racial preferences in college admissions. Regardless of the decision, the damage done to American higher education by racial preferences will not be reversed overnight. Given the current tense climate around race at colleges and universities, what does the future look like? Is there any hope for reconciliation, or will students forever be exposed to a toxic and increasingly racially segregated university?

This event will feature Jonathan Butcher, the Will Skillman Senior Research Fellow in Education Policy at The Heritage Foundation; Renu Mukherjee, a Paulson Policy Analyst at the Manhattan Institute whose work addresses a range of topics on affirmative action and race in higher education; and Ilya Shapiro, a Constitutional Law and Supreme Court expert.
