As the campaign has progressed, it is quite clear the corporate elite of this country are consolidating around their favored candidate to stop our working class movement.

- The Washington Post: "Wall Street donors have a new favorite candidate in the 2020 Democratic presidential field: Pete Buttigieg"

- Forbes: "While Sanders has refused donations from billionaires, Buttigieg has more exclusive billionaire donors than any other Democrat in the race."

- Fortune: "Pete Buttigieg Takes Lead as Big Business Candidate in 2020 Field."

Now why do you think they are making such enormous political contributions? They may be greedy — but they are not stupid.

We do not have and do not want the funding of the billionaire class. And that is because we have something they do not have — and that is the people. So we are asking:

Can you make a contribution before Bernie takes the debate stage as a way of saying you have had ENOUGH of the billionaire class of this country buying our candidates and elections?

The question we have to ask — as Bernie has throughout this campaign — is “which side are you on?” Do we want a president who will stand up to the corporate elite of this country, or one who begs them for money?

The choice is pretty clear. And if we stand together, we are going to win this primary, beat Trump, and transform this country.

All my best,

Faiz Shakir
