People often say, "I don't know about you, but..." Well, I do know about you. Mostly because I am you. So I know you're sick of ugly, artificially elongated articles with their anonymous sources and a thousand Pfizer or Bud Light ads assaulting your eyeballs. That's why this article itself is short, even though you'll learn a lot. That's what we do. We respect you and your time.
Over the last year we've been in the lab designing a new 'The National Pulse' experience that can stay true to our "real news" mantra instituted in 2020. We tell the truth no matter how ugly, we provided sources, and we don't rely on corporate advertisers who dictate our editorial positions.
