While our work primarily focuses on middle and high school students, we continue to receive requests for support with younger children. Many of our approaches are even more effective when students come into the adolescent years with healthy foundations, and we are thrilled to share some of our best practices on May 24th.
As partners in nurturing young children, educators and parents / caregivers alike are the ideal audience for this interactive workshop. Please feel free to share this with your parent community.
Denise Pope, Ph.D. and Kimberly Tsai Cawkwell, M.Ed., will co-present this workshop.
Participants will learn:
* Strategies to cultivate autonomy in young children and the long-term benefits
* What the research says about sleep and child development
* How to create opportunities for various kinds of play and why it matters
* Best practices for media use and limits
